"I hope you don't find out about it" - is what he was last heard muttering.
Then people started chiming in:

HI Folks, just wanted to share how my IQ is increasing to 150 while at the same time I am diminishing my chances of getting Alzheimer's. I am just about in my mid-fifties and was beginning to signs of aging and mental deteriations.
A friend of mine from Florida introduced me to a new supplement called, IQ150 with Cognizen. Of course I never heard of neither. After much research on both I found that Cognizen was a Japanese discovery and is combined with other ingredients that would enha…

Portland Trailblazers are going to win the NBA championship in about 4-5 years because they have the youngest team in the NBA. They also beat the Rockets who are the 4th best team in the western conference. The Trail Blazers can play against some of the best teams in NBA. They have Brandon Roy, Lamarcus Albridge, Greg Oden, and Jerryd Bayless. With Brandon Roy playing well right now he can lead the Blazers to the playoff's. When Greg Oden starts playing well he will be one of the best big men in…

Can we please do something on this website to get rid of all these spammers on here. This website used to be a great site for people to share info, about training and their goals to dunk or play basketball or sports at a higher level. All of the sudden at some point along the line people just came on here and started spamming the forums, and blog posts with shoe sites. And the legit people who were on here all took off.

As you can see I have been posting less and less, due to my wife is 1 month away from having a baby. I haven't slowed down on my weight training but have slacked a tad on my ploymetrics, due to trying to figure out the best way to balance the full week of lifting and basketball and ploymetrics. It will come with time. I currently weight somewhere between 170 to 175 lbs. That is about 20 pounds I have gained. I truly believe it is muscle mass due to I can tell a difference in my body and strength…

The vertical leap training is coming along also and I would love to meet my goal by dunking by Dec 16th, 2008. I better start practicing dunking on 9 and 9.5 more if I want to be able to do it. I have changed my lifting schedule up some and starting working out with a few buddies of mine. It is really cool to have someone there to push you and I enj…

As some of you along with me, got this super secret email masterclass series, by JumpUSA, and Luke Lowry, I came to a conclusion. Luke Lowry has the ability that every trainer wishes he could possess, and nope I'm not talking about turning any household couch potato into someone with a 50 inch vert, but no this man can create a hype for himself not seen ever in training. Now that is not to say anything bad about him, or any people who follow his work and certainly not anything bad about JumpU…

Worked out and played a few times in between last blog and today. I am seeing results more and more in the weight training. My game has really stepped up also. Little by little it continues to grow. I have really really enjoyed he weight training due to the quick results I have seen. Arms are bigger, and legs are bigger also. I have to stay focused on the vertical jump though, because that is my goal. Today I have a slight sore through and the time change makes it get dark fast and we have to pl…

Today is my rest day. I worked out yesterday morning and worked hard. I will rest today and play ball tomorrow. I played on last thursday and it went very well. I have been practicing dunking on 9ft and 9.5ft. I was putting the ball down pretty easy on both levels. I used a smaller ball and did a mean windmill dunk on 9ft. I will test end of this week and let you all know how it is going . My strength training has been going well and my arms, chest, and legs are getting bigger. You can notice it…

Throughout the spring and summer, I've heard alot of "hype" on the Nike hyperdunks. Bad weather has passed and the weather is beautiful in Houston. Did another round of strength training and really enjoying it. The supplements allow me to recover the next day. Rested my sore ab muscle and it feels a lot better. I played ball a few days ago and could dunk on 9 1/2 with ease. I could also touch ten foot with ease. The jumping is getting easier, which I believe is due to the strength training with the ploymetric mix work outs. Now when I was playing my lower ab muscle that was bot…

Felt pretty good. Didn't really burn until the the last sets. Starting on weight training more with the polymetric and also getting in my protein supplements, which will allow me to recover quicker. Well, I am going to post a video later, but WOW, tested myself today after playing one game of b-ball, and got all my fingers over the rim. This is like a 3 or 4 inch increase after 3 weeks of training. I knew I felt faster and quicker but after testing a few times, I didn't see a result. I am guessing that after a good warm up and my blood pumping I was able to see the results. I am believing that a good warm up is very important.

Third week was good. Seemed to taper off in the amount of sets and reps. Ankles were kinda sore and felt weaker, but nothing to slow me down. Also started a weight training work out. Went will with Squats, leg curls and calf raises. I took about 4 days off before I started the 4 week of training. It went well today and I had to push myself. It seem like I was able to do the reps this time a little easier and still get the burn. Now the one exercise that did kick my butt last time and this time is the squat jumps. Then there's the windmill, tomahawk, double-clutch, rock-the-baby, 360, alley-oop, and behind-the-head. So they're saying that this year's NBA Slam Dunk Contest was the best ever. It certainly was impressive. If I were a 51-year-old WOMAN who was able to dunk a basketball, I would be the next president of the United States. What makes me say this? Recently, a video of a 6-foot-8 high school girl dunking during a game made the ABC Evening News. When a 6-foot-8-inch man dunks, it does not make the news. Unless it's a particularly spectacular dunk, it won't even make a local sportscaster's highlight reel. A 6-foot-8-inch man might, however, make the news if he were NOT able to dunk. Such are a man's…

Growing old and growing up, of course, are two different things. You can do one without doing the other. It's not advisable, but it happens. In attempting to dunk a basketball at the age of 50, my aim is to preserve a sense of physical vitality and longevity. I need to believe that the end is nowhere in sight. But because my goal involves a basketball, I suppose it's possible to assume that I am also attempting to forestall the aging process emotionally, to maintain that eager immaturity that…

I began my quest to dunk largely to escape the reality of my advancing age. That was my plan. But as the saying goes, if you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans. Indeed, throughout this journey, circumstances have thrown my age back in my face like a baboon hurling its feces.
To be fair, my journey has not been an unrelenting hailstorm of baboon shit (that's the last time I'll revisit that image, I promise). In the beginning, learning to dunk had exactly the desired effe…

As I've mentioned before, I've always been reasonably athletic and kept myself in pretty good shape. Over the last 15 years or so, I've always tried to do at least the minimum amount suggested by those doctors and surgeons who make it their business to tell the rest of us how much we need to exercise to keep the Reaper at bay. Thirty minutes of cardiovascular training each day, another half hour of weight lifting three times a week, that sort of thing. I'd give them their minimum and not a ti…

At the age of 50, I decided I wanted to dunk a basketball. Something I had never been able to do before. If I was going to do this, I would need help. A personal trainer, someone to help get my legs--and the rest of me--in the proper shape to get me airborne. Now, I’ve always been reasonably athletic--Little League, Pop Warner football, my high school tennis team, that sort of thing--and I’ve always worked out. At least ever since 8th grade gym class. Ill be keepin track of my progress. I got the complex program though. It is a 6 week program.
Startin Vert: 22 inches
Goal After 8 Weeks: 30 inches
After Week 1: 1 in gain(Not bad)
After Week 2: 2 in (I'm now just barely dunking 9 1/2 feet)
After Week 3: 0 ?? ( I didn't see any increase in my dunking so I'll try to measure again.)
After Week 4: 1.5- 2in ( I'm doing these tests on a vertical leap system at my school's gym and the coach measures the res…

It’s simple and It’s Basic, your number # 1 secret of success will always be knowing your “Niche” and using it to separate yourself form every other Baller out there…
This is the most over-looked art of figuring out what your coach really needs and developing an Identity on the court.
What is a Niche?
I’m Glad you asked!
Your niche is how you are different from everyone else. It is the one aspect that you are great at, not good at, but great at.

With so many drills and different ways to practice to improve your game, you could very easily get confused and frustrated trying to compile a perfect practice plan. Some of the main components I have always stressed with all my private basketball clients, whether they are beginners or a NBA Veteran, is to try and train smarter and just harder.
A major component you have to consider when trying to design a Basketball Improvement system is to leverage your time wisely and

Like many ballers, I have had an interesting career.
I played all fours years of high school ball for a small school in the Florida keys called Coral Shores. I developed the love for basketball at a very young age and knew right away that my life would always be surrounded by basketball.
I enjoyed a great career averaging 27. 8 PPG and starting every single game on varsity. I attended most of the top high school an…

I've used the jumpsoles for some time now and I am able to grab 10'. I did additional training that I incorporated to the jumpsoles training program. I do believe in the jumpsoles as an effective product. To tell you guys the truth, I haven't used jumpsoles for about 2 weeks and gained a little bit weight; I'm still able to grab a 10' rim. Anyone have their own success stories or perspective on jumpsoles? I would love to hear how you turned on your "successful switch" or anyone who just had thei…

Hey all,
again I can't draw but here is my idea, I thought of this shoe specifically for training, and more specifically for plyometrics, and olympic style weightlifting. In the old Chuck Ts by Converse and as well as the shoes now deveoloped for Olympic style weightlifters that noone can afford, because they are unreasonably priced they have cork in the shoe to dampen the impact to the knees. My show was along the same idea, but raise the heel very slightly and cushion it with some ve…

I can't draw but I cam up with a couple of ideas, first a mostly gold shoe with some purple with the number 81 for Kobe's 81 point performance, even though it wasn't recent I think it is still very relevant in sports. Number 2 I would like to see a shoe created for the new look Celtics with a small picture or animation of the "big 3" Pierce, Allen, and KG, and then in the background have "Big Baby" Glen Davis Kendrick Perkins, and Rajon Rondo, on the other side or the other shoe you could have "…

Alot of my friends think Kobe, I quote is the 'Truth'. Honestly in my opinion I think he a ball hog who thinks he the greatest player in the world. I mean come on now he has teammates who know how to play the game. Most the time when Kobe give one of his rare passes they dont kno wat to do cuz they not used to gettin the ball. Lol. But if u have a say on this topic the feel free to reply.
