It was kinda ntaural because I didn't know about any workouts or special programs that could make my vertical higher. So I used to just walk around with ankle weights on and one day in practice I just went up and dunk it. But my mother was a cheerleader and my father was a basketball player and they have pretty strong legs.

What up Ryan. The only way to build a solid vert is by combining some wight lifting with a good plyometric work out. The key in most plyo workouts is speed. It's all about training those fast twitch muscle fibers to explode, so when you hit a vert program remember that speed is key, but nothing subs for safety. I worked my way from not being able to touch a backboard to being able to dunk from under the hoop with no steps. It takes so determination kid, but you can do it with some good old fashioned dicipline. Hit me up-
