I entered my freshman basketball season on the Rye J.V. team not knowin wat to expect. I was the best player on the team, and I'm probably gonna start at the 2 next year on varsity. Rye is in Westchester NY. We don't have the best overall league, but we have 2 of the top public Highscool teams. Peekskill and Mount Vernon. Mount Vernon contains amazing history in their program. Just started week 3 of Air Alert Monday. Didn't get to test my vert out cause my back was still hurtin but now its better, i just cant grab the rim cause it messes it up agian. My knees started hurtin on my trip last week. Might not be from AA cause I was sitting down on planes and cars for ten hours both ways. But I was excited cause i had ordered Springbak insoles. Just finished week 1 of air alert. It was great. No knee pain. The only problem I had, was that i coudn't measure my gain cause I had back strain(unrelated to air alert) that has happened before in the past year. If anyone knows anything I can do to strengthen my back, please tell me. Still, playing at the Y with my friends. I felt an extra boost in my jumping. I felt like I was jumping higher. And I was.
