Why do NBA Players travel so often?

This shows the reason why David Stern raised the age limit in the NBA. Too many players have no fundamentals. Some players like Al Harrington have 7 years in the L and STILL travel? I think 1 year of college would have done it. Or maybe some high school coaching. Players like Kwame Brown and Al Harrington are proof that you need at least 1 year of college fundamentals. I have 0 years of high school ball experience and I don't even travel on the court.
